        Senior Friendship Centers Caregiver Resource Center:  Provides a one-stop, system to access community resources.  Monthly newsletter highlights, caregiver educational programs and support groups.  Trained volunteers are available to offer information and advice on issues regarding caregiving.

Alzheimer’s Association Florida Gulf Coast:  Provides individual and family consultations for caregivers to help families develop a plan of care.  Free caregiver training classes offered monthly.  Emergency Respite services are available in certain circumstances.  Several monthly Caregiver Support Groups meet in the local area.  http://www.alz/org/flgulfcoast

VA Caregiver Support:  Provides financial assistance for in-home care, day care or assisted living to eligible Veterans or their widowed spouse.  Local county staff are available to assist with eligibility and explain services available.

Tidewell Hospice:  Provides educational programming, grief support, volunteer services to those providing care to individuals with life limiting illness.
